Zadie Jumpsuit or Dress (June 9 & 16)

The Zadie Jumpsuit is a relaxed and easy to wear one piece that comes with the option of wide 3/4 length sleeves, or sleeveless with a dropped shoulder. It wraps around the body and fastens with a tie so there is no need for buttons or a zip - making it quick and to easy sew, and quick and easy to get on and off.

The legs are cut wide and skim above the ankle. There are deep slant pockets on the front, with small pleats at the waist on the front and back. The neck edge is finished with a bias binding.

New for this session we are offering the option to make the wrap dress version of the Zadie! The Zadie Dress is a relaxed and easy to wear one piece that comes with the option of 3/4 length sleeves, or sleeveless with a dropped shoulder. There are inseam pockets on the skirt and small pleats at the waist on the front and back of the bodice. The neck edge is finished with a bias binding.

When: June 9 & 16, 11am-2pm (2 classes – 6hrs instruction)

Group size: 6 students maximum

Age range: Adults 16+

Skill level: This is a beginner class, you will need an understanding of the principles of sewing, operating a sewing machine and working with sewing patterns, seam allowances etc. This pattern requires topstitching and inserting a bias binding. You may have a little homework between classes.

About the Teacher: Kirsten began her sewing journey 30 years ago before the internet and independent pdf patterns. She is an avid garment Sewist who loves to create classic, minimalist items for her wardrobe primarily out of linen, cotton and other natural fibres.
