The Perfect Pant

This is a high waisted pant with a fly front and button closure, shaped waistband, back darts and curved front pockets. The pants are drafted to be fitted around the waist and hip before dropping into a wide, slightly cropped leg. We have chosen this pattern because once you have mastered the fit, the leg width and length can be altered for many different styles. This is a solid intro to making pants that fit and learning zipper fly installations. This pattern is suitable for any mid weight woven fabric, we have made some up in demin and they look fantastic!

When: (4 classes – 12 hrs instruction in total)

Group size: Maximum of 8 students

Age range: Adults 16+

Skill level: Suitable for intermediate sewists who are familiar with seam allowances, pattern markings, and cutting out fabric. Please prepare for some homework between classes to complete on time.
