Bel Skirt or Peppermint Pocket Skirt (June 2)

$150.00

For this class you can choose to make one of two gathered, elastic waist skirts with pockets!

Peppermint Pocket Skirt - Sew up this relaxed midi silhouette, a flattering gathered waistband and oversized ‘just in case’ panel pockets. This is a great trans- seasonal item for your wardrobe. Pair it with a crop, tuck in your favourite tee or layer with tights and trainers for casual park catch-ups or long lunches alike! Pattern by Peppermint Patterns and Paper Theory. (The first three photos showing a green skirt are the Peppermint Pocket Skirt).

Elizabeth Suzann Bel Skirt - The skirt that’s so simple it is brilliant. It has enough length to show some leg but also provides modest coverage, a generous hem to add luxe weight and body to the fabric, and just enough gathering to add fullness and movement at the hip but not become bulky at the waist.

Deep, sleek inseam pockets provide plenty of room for storing odds and ends along with a place to keep your hands occupied. This pattern includes an ingenious method for inserting pockets–it can be a bit of a mind-bender, but once you've done it you'll have the cleanest, professional finished pocket and you will feel so proud! (The final four photos are the Bel Skirt).
