Donny Shirt (June 23)

The Donny Shirt is a boxy pull-on top that is designed to be a workhorse in your wardrobe. It is a dartless top with a lapel collar and patch pocket. The Donny is a great everyday top that can be worn with practically anything. Because of its boxy silhouette, the Donny is comfortable but still cool. Pair it with jeans or a skirt, layer it over or under a dress - the sky’s the limit!

When: Sunday, June 23, 11am-4pm (1 class, 5 hours of instruction)

Group size: 6 students maximum

Age range: Adults 16+

Skill level: This is a beginner class, you will need an understanding of the principles of sewing, operating a sewing machine and working with sewing patterns, seam allowances etc. This pattern requires topstitching, sewing a collar, and sewing a yoke using the burrito method.

About the Teacher: Kirsten began her sewing journey 30 years ago before the internet and independent pdf patterns. She is an avid garment Sewist who loves to create classic, minimalist items for her wardrobe primarily out of linen, cotton and other natural fibres.
