Workwear Jacket (June 10, 17, & 24)
A comprehensive class to get you familiar with sewing your own outerwear and give you skills you can use for other projects. In this course, you will sew a relaxed jacket with a convertible collar, front placket and the option for multiple pockets. The jacket has a relaxed style and can be made from everything from heavy weight linen, wool, twill or canvass. We will have a 30 min break for lunch mid day, please bring a bag lunch.
When: Mondays June 10, 17, & 24 - 10am-1:30pm (3 classes – 10.5 hours instruction in total)
Group size: Maximum of 8 students
Age range: Adults 16+
Skill level: Suitable for confident beginners who are familiar with seam allowances, pattern markings, and cutting out fabric.

About the Teacher: Julia is our resident garment expert. She delights in designing functional, sustainable garments with professional finishing and construction techniques.
