One Yard Zero Waste Tote (July 7)
Create a tote bag with under a yard of fabric and leave no waste behind! In this class we will guide you through the steps of plotting out the pattern pieces and sewing them together.
You will create an pleated tote bag using a piece of fabric that is: 27” (69 cm) LONG x 52” (132 cm) - 60” (152 cm) WIDE. Canvas, Duck, Twill, Denim are great fabric choices for this bag.
When: Sunday, July 7, 11am-3pm (1 class - 4 hrs instruction)
Group size: Maximum of 8 students
Age range: Adult
Skill level: Suitable for confident beginners.

About the Teacher: Kirsten began her sewing journey 30 years ago before the internet and independent pdf patterns. She is an avid garment Sewist who loves to create classic, minimalist items for her wardrobe primarily out of linen, cotton and other natural fibers.
