Teen Learn to Sew SUMMER PROGRAMMING
This class for teens is designed to teach sewing skills to beginners and those with a few basic sewing skills. Students work at their own pace and will learn how to sew a variety of projects and garments. Project options will be offered to accommodate varying skill levels and interests.
When:
Session 1: July 8-12, 10am-noon (5 lessons, 10 hours of instruction).
Session 2: July 22-26, 12:30-2:30pm (5 lessons, 10 hrs of instruction)
Session 3: August 12-16, 10am-noon (5 lessons - 10 hrs of instruction)
Group size: Maximum of 8 students
Age range: Teens 13-16 years
Skill level: Suitable for absolute beginners with little or no experience using a sewing machine, or those who have some skills developed.
Supplies: If your student decides on a garment project we will provide a materials list otherwise all supplies are included.
About the Teacher: Julia is our resident garment expert. She delights in designing functional, sustainable garments with professional finishing and construction techniques.
