Quick Serger Refresher

Is your serger intimidating you? Take this quick refresher on how to thread the loopers and trouble shoot tension issues. Use one of our studio machines or bring your own machine to class (we aren’t technicians, so please don’t bring machines that are in need of servicing). You will leave ready to serge up a storm.

When: ( 1 class - 2 hrs in total)

Group size: Maximum of 6 students

Age range: Adults 16+

Skill level: Suitable for sewists with basic sewing experience who know how to operate a home sewing machine.

About the Teachers:

Julia is our resident garment expert. She delights in designing functional, sustainable garments with professional finishing and construction techniques.

Shannon is a life long sewist who enjoys sewing a wide variety of projects from garments to quilts. She has been using a serger in her sewing practice for over 30 years.
