Family PJ Bottoms

Cozy pajama bottoms are easy to sew and great for gifting. We will have time in class to complete one pair, but you will leave with the know-how to make them for each member of your family. Patterns will remain available during open studio sessions, and we have sizing for kids through adults.

When: (1 class – 3 hrs instruction)

Supplies to Purchase:

Flannel or quilting cotton * see below*

1 1/2" (38mm) wide elastic to fit around your waist without stretching

1.8 m. 1/2” twill tape *optional if you want a drawstring

Matching thread

Adult - Approx. 2.5 - 3.0 meters for 30- 34" inseam. It is double your leg length from your waist, plus 5 inches (12.5cm) for hems. Most mens will take the full 3.0m. Smaller ladies sizes will fit within 2.5m

Kids - size 3m - 6 yrs approx 1 meter , size 7-8 approx 1.5m, size 10-14 approx 2 meters.

Prewash if you can.

Group size: Maximum of 8 students

Age range: Adults 16+

Skill level: Suitable for sewists with basic sewing experience who know how to operate a domestic sewing machine and are acquainted with a domestic serger.
