Kids Learn to Sew SUMMER PROGRAMMING

We have changed up the pace of our kids programming over the summer to better fit with holiday plans. Choose between 4 lessons over two weeks or an intensive week long camp (or do both). We welcome first time sewers along with those who have been with us for a few sessions. We can adapt to any skill level, and have lots of projects to keep everyone busy working at their own level. Kids who have never worked on a sewing machine before can learn new skills while building self-confidence in these fun beginner’s classes. Seasoned students will select from a variety of projects that we have assembled according to their interests. There is nothing better than the thrill that comes with being able to say, “I made it myself!”

Any students who are curious about sewing classes are welcome to come by the studio and see what we are all about.

When:

Session 1: July 8 - 12, 12:30-2:30pm (5 classes–10 hrs instruction in total) .

Session 2: July 22 - 26, 10am-12pm (5 classes–10 hrs instruction in total).

Session 3: August 12-16, 12:30-2:30pm (5 classes–10 hrs instruction in total).

Group size: 8 student maximum

Age range: 8- 12 years

Skill level: Absolute beginner. No experience required.

Supplies: All supplies included.

About the Teacher: Tanya learned to sew at a very young age and enjoys inspiring kids (even the grown-up kind) to explore their creativity and learn for themselves the benefits of living the crafty life.
