Dopp Kit (June 1 or June 13)

Named after the inventor Charles Doppelt, this quintessential toiletries case has been in circulation since 1919. This class is a solid introduction to learning how to make one of these structured, functional bags. Once you have mastered the first one, these bags can be made from canvas, waxed cotton, denim, leather or nylon fabrics. Details such as leather straps and rivets can also be added. In this class we will be providing you with 12 oz canvas, metal YKK zippers, cotton webbing and our own Spool Yard pattern . We are certain you will make this bag again and again.

When: Saturday June 1 1:00 - 4:00pm (1 class 3 hrs instruction)

OR: Thursday June 13 12:00 - 3:00pm (1 class 3 hrs instruction)

Group size: Maximum of 8 students

Age range: Adult

Skill level: Suitable for confident beginners.
